Eyal Golan in Paris – Controversial Concerts (May 2025)

Israeli singer Eyal Golan performed two concerts in Paris on May 19 and 20, 2025, at the Dôme de Paris – Palais des Sports.

• These performances sparked major controversy due to previous public statements Golan made, calling for the extermination of the population of Gaza — comments widely condemned as incitement to genocide.

• Despite protests and calls for cancellation from civil society groups and political figures — including members of the French left-wing party La France Insoumise — the concerts went ahead, drawing over 4,000 attendees.

• Outside the venue, demonstrations were held denouncing the concerts as giving a platform to hate speech. Protesters held signs and gave speeches condemning both Golan’s statements and the French authorities for allowing the shows.

• Inside, the concerts reportedly featured pro-Israeli army visuals, including images of tanks and soldiers, with the Hebrew message "Israel Lives" projected on screen — further fueling public outrage.
