"⭕ Testimonies from Captives' Club detail abductions and brutal field investigations in Al-Fawwar camp. "Israeli soldiers forces raided my home at dawn. I have been suffering from a serious health condition due to a wound I sustained in my abdomen a few months ago./ Despite my attempts to explain my illness, they ruthlessly beat me. They dragged me to one of the houses they had turned into a military outpost, where nearly 50 of us were crammed together, shackled by our hands, and blindfolded."

Archivist Notes: Yahya Daniel Awad murder in Al-Fawwar

Medical sources reported that the young Palestinian, Yahya Daniel Awad (29), died following a serious injury sustained by bullets from Israeli armed forces in the chest during their storming of the camp Al-Fawwar in al-Khalil, on September 24, Tuesday, in the evening.

Previously, on September 24, Israeli armed forces stormed the camp and attacked several houses, while firing live ammunition and stun grenades at citizens, resulting in four young men being injured by live ammunition. The young man, Awad, was seriously injured in the chest, and the others were moderately to lightly injured in the foot, shoulder and back. They were transferred to Yatta Government Hospital. Doctors later announced that Awad had died from his serious injury on September 25 at dawn, at hospital.

The factions declared a general strike in Al-Fawwar camp on Wednesday, in protest against the killing of Awad, who was married with a one-year-old daughter, as his wife was pregnant with another daughter. He worked in the municipality of Hebron.

With the death of young Awad, the number of martyrs in the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, has reached 717, including 160 children, since the Zionist aggression against our people began on October 7.
