The army is saluting and singing the Israeli national anthem in a school they illegaly occupied in Rafah.

Cynically, it is the week of the return to school in Palestine, while schooling has been made impossible in most of the Gaza Strip: schools have been completely or partially destroyed or are used as shelters while 80% of the buildings are damaged or razed. UNRWA has been targeted directly or indirectly by Israeli propaganda leading to its defunding while this organization provides the education of more than 600,000 students in the Gaza Strip.

Instead, schools have now become shelters, many have been bombed to the ground. Over 6,000 students have been killed, thousands more injured, & a total of 630,000 children are missing out on education, spending their days attempting to secure food & water & escaping tanks.
