Released through Kissufim border crossing, arrived at Al Aqsa Martyrs hospital.

The men recounted their torture in Israeli detention centres, saying they were beaten, deprived of food, forced to remain in harsh physical positions throughout the day, and attacked by dogs. “They broke our hands and feet,” one of the former prisoners said.

“They forced me to stay on my knees for 51 days. I was only allowed to sleep four hours a day. Once, they asked me to put on a Qassam Brigades uniform and go into a tunnel. When I refused, they put me in an electric chair and tortured me. In the central Negev prison, they put me in a place that looked like a cage for an animal,” one Palestinian man said.

Another said that they were “beaten, tortured and humiliated every day”.

The released detainees also described a shortage of food and water, poor sanitary conditions and a lack of medical treatment.

“They detained me for four months and tortured me brutally with electric shocks and dogs. They used to severely beat us up,” said another male Palestinian. https://aje.io/ti9zn9?update=3088058
