On December 4, during the night, a group of violent settlers armed with clubs and incendiary devices invaded and attacked Huwara and Beit Furik (Nablus Governorate). Zionist settlers infiltrated the officers' neighborhood west of the town of Beit Furik, from the "Yitzhar" settlement built on the town's lands east of Nablus and set fire to several private properties belonging to citizens including an under-construction house belonging to citizen Muhammad Naif Hanani, two cars, and grocery stores belonging to his cousin Muhammad Rabah Hanani. They act under the protection of Israeli forces. In Huwara, they set fire to the house of a family of 7, who were saved thanks to the resourcefulness of neighbors and two vehicles. According to the village mayor, they hit the father of the family in the head and he was hospitalized with skull fractures. The settlers tried to enter another village but were stopped. Following the attack, residents of Beit Furik clashed with security forces. At the same time, in Itamar, the settlers threw stones at police officers and injured two of them. This is what attack dogs look like when they bite the hand that feeds them. The reason for this pogrom was the evacuation order of the illegal outpost "Hill 617", which was built on stolen land. Other clashes and raids occured during the followong days.

**On December 4, around 11 a.m.**, about ten Israeli soldiers beat Atef Malik Diriyeh to death at the entrance to the village of Aqraba, south of Nablus. He was working on his land when soldiers invaded his property. He called his son by phone from his vehicle, asking him to join him as soon as possible. His son came with his nephew by jeep, but when they arrived, the soldiers were gone, and they found Sheikh Diriyeh 80 meters away from his vehicle, unconscious. He was taken to the hospital in Nablus, where he was pronounced dead. According to the municipal chief Salah Jab : “Occupation soldiers badly beat the elderly man as he was on his land near a settlement road in the town (...) He sustained serious injuries and died of his wounds at the hospital”. Sheikh Atef Malik Diriyeh was a respected 70 years old man, an imam and a memorizer of the Quran. **Legal context :** In July 2024, the International Court of Justice issued a landmark advisory opinion that declared Israel’s decades-long occupation of Palestinian land “illegal” and demanded the evacuation of all existing settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. Around 2:30 am, an Israeli airstrike targeted the house of the Abu Samra family in the Abu Arif area in Deir al-Balah. At 9 pm, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Miqdad family house near Abdullah Azzam mosque in Block 5 of Nuseirat camp, central Gaza. Between 6:30 and 7 pm, Israel launched a series of airstrikes on **residential blocks** in Gaza City on Al-Nafaq Street. The strikes destroyed the houses of the **Al-Dalo, Saqallah and Al-Jaarour families**. A survivor recounted the residential block was bombed by fireblet strikes. Locals found 2 children killed and 5 others in critical conditions who were taken to Al-Ahli Hospital. 10 people remain missing under the rubble, whereas Preliminary death toll was estimated at 25 people killed and 50 injured. At 5 pm, an Israeli aristrike targeted a displacement camp in the so-called safe zone of Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. More precisely, the same location was **bombed three times** starting around 4:50 pm The third strike led to casualties as people had returned to the location under a false sense of security. Helicopters had fired two missiles, mere minutes apart, on a farm land belonging to the Al-Astal family. Minutes later, a follow-up strike lead to the injury of one person. Day 61 of Israel's third ground invasion of the North Gaza governorate. Following a **night-long concentrated assault on Beit Lahia schools**, Israeli forces **expelled** displaced persons out of the shelters. About 20,000 people are estimated to have been forcibly displaced as schools typically shelter about 5,000 persons. Yet, Israeli forces continued harming Palestinians complying with the forced displacement and abiding to the designated "safe passage" on Salah al-Din Street.
