Moments before 5 pm, an Israeli drone shot journalist **Mamdouh Qunita** in the head in the courtyard of Al-Ahli Arab (Baptist) Hospital in Gaza City. He was pronounced dead a few minutes later. Mamdouh worked as an editor for Al Aqsa TV (aka Seraj TV). Journalist Islam Bader who was on the ground, reported hearing the gunshot while he was readying for a live broadcast, when everyone around was running and he heard someone shout "Mamdouh was martyred!" Around 1 pm, an Israeli strike targeted a vehicle along with a gathering of people who were getting flour at a **flour distribution point** in Qizan al-Najjar, south of Khan Younis. 12 people were killed. One of the victims, Ahmad Al-Qadi, said that her husband was **deaf**. He was on his way to go for prayer with four of his friends who are also deaf when they were struck by a rocket from a **drone**.
