**On December 13,** Israeli Special forces invaded Beit Awwa, southwest of Hebron, in occupied West Bank, stormed the town, surrounded a paint shop and fired live bullets randomly at the citizens. During the raid, Muhammad Ahmad Masalma, a 23-year-old with disabilities, was hit by a bullet while the Israelis arrested his cousin Thabet Masalma inside the shop. But, according to Beit Awa Mayor Muhammad Masalma, the Israeli forces arrested a young man called Mithaq Masalma. A witness reported that Muhammad Ahmad Masalma tried to flee in fear at the moment of the raid, but the force opened fire on him, which led to his injury. According to local sources, the Israeli forces detained his body and prevented medical teams from reaching him, leaving him to bleed to death before delivering him to a Palestinian ambulance. Director of Dura Governmental Hospital, Muhammad Rabie, said that the young man, Muhammad Ahmad Hussein Masalma (23 years old), arrived at the emergency department without the medical crews being able to save his life, as a result of being shot in the chest during the occupation forces’ storming of the town of Beit Awa. **Israeli Army statement:** The army claimed in a statement that the forces that shot him "sensed danger" after police and soldiers entered the village. **Context :** Masalma was a friend and relative of the prisoner Izz Masalma, who carried out a shooting near the Tunnels checkpoint in Bethlehem two days ago, which killed a settler and injured four others. The whole family of journalist Eman Al-Shanti (Abed), was killed: herself, her husband and three of their four children. **Only their 13 year-old daughter Banan survived, but with serious injuries**.
