More information on the settlement of Ein Zivan: "built on the ruins of the uprooted Syrian-Circassian village of Ayn Ziwan, destroyed in the late 1960's. The village's mosque, described to me by one of the early settlers as "beautiful", stood for a few more years before being demolished too."
