Archivist Notes: Raid and Educide on Harris village, near Salfit

Raid and collective punishment in Hares, Salfit District:

Hares ( حارس), Salfit district. According to Palestinian sources:

Yesterday, the security forces raided the village due to the claim of throwing stones and damaging a car. The soldiers closed the entrance gate to the village and raided the village, gathered dozens of people - old men and children - first they interrogated them in the village and then marched them to an unknown location. The villagers did not know where their loved ones were until they were released today after about 20 hours. All this time, the village remained closed, and classes were canceled. The teachers were taken for questioning to a house a kilometer east of the village. The investigation of the suspecting of stone throwing that ended in the release of all the detainees is a collective punishment. Givat Ronan, Yitzhar, and other Jewish terror nests , were not closed after the pogroms committed by their residents. No one was taken to march, to an unknown place, and disappeared. Welcome to the apartheid state.
