Repression of anti-genocide protests in Haifa

Late May 2025 (May 30–31): A large Jewish‑Arab protest marched through the German Colony under slogans such as “We want life, not escalation”, “Stop the war”, and displayed watermelon symbols and pictures of Palestinian children. Hundreds participated across Jewish and Arab communities.

April 10, 2025: Police cracked down on a demonstration with banners in Hebrew, Arabic, and English reading “Stop the genocide” and “From Haifa to Gaza: One blood and fate”. At least 23 people were arrested amidst violent dispersal in the German Colony.

July 7: IsraeliPolice snatching signs and arresting activists at a protest against the genocide in Haifa. Four activists were arrested.
