"Since the arrival of Itamar Ben Gvir as Minister of National Security, the number of destructions of illegal constructions in the Negev has increased considerably.

According to data published by the national statistics institute, an increase of 33% was noted between the first half of 2022 and the first half of 2023 and of 14% between the first half of 2023 and the first half of 2024. An increase which reached 51% if we compare the first half of 2022 with the first half of 2024.
