"Hier, à Khalet al-Daba’a, près d’Hébron, l’horreur a frappé encore. Des colons ont débarqué, tabassé les habitants, blessé treize personnes. Un bébé de trois mois gazé au poivre. Un couple de 80 ans roué de coups. Et on ne sait même pas encore le nombre réel de blessés. Ce n’est pas un accident. L’an dernier, l’armée israélienne a rasé les maisons du village, ouvrant la voie à ces attaques sauvages pour chasser les habitants de leurs terres. 👉 C’est une stratégie de terreur. Une épuration à ciel ouvert." - Source
“Yesterday, in Khalet al-Daba’a near Hebron, horror struck again. Settlers stormed in, beat the residents, and injured thirteen people. A three-month-old baby was pepper-sprayed. An elderly couple in their 80s was brutally beaten. And we still don’t even know the real number of wounded.
This is not an accident. Last year, the Israeli army demolished the village’s homes, paving the way for these savage attacks to drive residents from their land.
👉 It is a strategy of terror. An open-air cleansing.”
On September 5, 2025, illegal paramilitary settlers launched a coordinated nighttime invasion of Khallet al-Dabe’, one of the 19 Palestinian hamlets that make up Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, in the occupied West Bank’s southern part, wounding at least 20 Palestinians, including seven children, and a four-month-old infant, and resulted in the destruction of homes and agricultural lands.
The Israeli settlers stormed the village under cover of darkness, demolishing residential structures and uprooting olive trees, grapevines, almond orchards, and native forestry. Witnesses described the invasion as a deliberate act of terror aimed at erasing Palestinian presence from ancestral lands. They then assaulted the local families, including children and women; the victims were beaten, sprayed with tear gas, and forcibly displaced.
Infant Yaqin Abbas Dababsa suffered a head injury during the assault. Emergency crews from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) evacuated the injured to Abu al-Hassan al-Qasim Hospital in Yatta.
Here is the list of casualties:
This list includes only those who were hospitalised, inluding injured with broken hand, nasal fracture, internal bleeding, head blow, or both arms broken
Context:
With their homes reduced to rubble in May, displaced families have taken shelter in nearby caves, determined to remain on the land they inherited from generations past. Residents describe the scene as a renewed Nakba—an ongoing catastrophe imposed through violence and state-backed dispossession.
Local communities and rights advocates assert that this attack is part of a systematic campaign to forcibly remove Palestinians from Masafer Yatta. The colonizers operate with full impunity, shielded by the Israeli government, which provides political and military cover for settler violence.
