"Watch: Arab Barghouti, son of senior Fatah leader Marwan Barghouti, reacted to footage from Israel’s Ganot prison showing National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir entering his father’s cell and threatening him — the first public sighting in years. He urged the international community to act, warning his father faces the same abuse as over 10,000 other Palestinian prisoners. Arrested in 2002, Marwan has been shuttled between prisons since Oct 7, spending 11 months in solitary confinement at Megiddo where he was assaulted three times, suffering broken ribs and severe bruising.
