In the afternoon, an Israeli airstrike targeted the Hafsa school in the Shadia Abu Ghazala Schools complex in Al-Faluja area of Jabalia. Like other schools, thousands of displaced people were sheltering here. Journalist Abdelqader Sabbah documented that the point of impact of the Israeli airstrikea, where most of the victims were found piled up, was a **gathering at food kiosks** in the school courtyard. Journalist Islam Bader confirmed that and added that right next to the kiosk there was a **food a bank, and two ladies baking bread**. Both ladies were killed, and bloodstained bread was found on the scene. The attack has killed at least 15 people and injured others in the school.
