**On October 16**, in the morning, Israeli army, during its ground invasion of Lebanon, detonates a village in southern Lebanon, claiming to target a tunnel built by the Hezbollah. ## Location : Even if the Israeli spokesperson Avichay Adraee claimed the location was Nabatieh, the actual Location, **is the village of Mhaybib**, according to several Lebanese media outlets, Al Jazeera, and journalist Timour Azhari, head of Reuters' Baghdad bureau. Mhaybib is located between Mais el-Jabal and Blida, about two kilometers from the Blue Line in the Marjayoun district. The Israeli army alleged it was destroying a tunnel network used by Hezbollah’s elite al-Radwan unit, stating the tunnel ran beneath civilian homes. There is further footage showing IDF soldiers causing the massive explosion and exulting in what appears to be a war crime, gleefully filmed by Israel for the world to see. Israel started propagating false reports of allowing aid trucks in northern Gaza. Many journalists on the ground in the northern Gaza refuted these claims, clarifying that the trucks reached the southern parts of the North Gaza, but no aid was allwoed inside the beiseged areas: Jabalia Camp, Jabalia City, Jabalia Al-Nazla, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahia. Around 3 am, Israeli strikes targeted a house belonging to the Al-Qirm family near the Italian complex on Al-Nasr Street in Gaza City. Initial casualty reports indicated 5 persons were killed. The death toll rose in the next hours to **13 killed**. Rescue only managed to reach the family early morning, and recovered the bodies of **11 killed** family members. In addition, the paramedic who was coordinating the rescue of the family was killed.
