"The heartbreaking moment when photojournalist Abdulraheem Khader found out he had lost 48 members of his extended family, mostly children, gone in a moment. He lost them all when an Israeli airstrike targeted his home in Jabalia al-Balad on the first day of Eid al-Adha. He had just left for work that morning when neighbors called to tell him the house was gone. When he arrived, there was no home, only rubble. “I only managed to bury four of them,” he said.
