On february 2, 2025, Israeli army carried on a military aggression and siege on Al-Far'a camp and the town of Tamoun, south of Tubas.

• As a matter of pattern, Special units infiltrated Tubas, raided a house, and were later reinforced by military units from the Tayasir checkpoint before withdrawing from the city.

• Infrastructure, roads leading to Al-Far'a camp have been bulldozed. All entrances to the camp have been blocked with earth mounds.

• Homes around Al-Far'a camp have been raided, forcing residents to flee and some homes have been turned into military barracks.

• Homes on the outskirts of Tamoun were raided, and residents were ordered not to return for 10 days.

• Destruction of Essential Services: A water pipeline between Tamoun and the village of Atouf was destroyed. And the road connecting Tamoun and Atouf was blocked with earth mounds.

• The Israeli occupation forces detained 10 civilians from Tamoun and Al-Far'a camp.

On February 3, Israeli forces continue to send reinforcements to Tamoun and Al-Far'a camp.

• Israeli reconnaissance aircraft are flying intensively over the area.

• Deployment of Israeli Occupation Infantry forces in Tamoun, South Tubas in West Bank

• During the morning, a house is raided in Tamoun

• Dozens of houses are evacuated, residents had to flee on the roads without any personal belongings and their properties are used as military barracks

• The Israeli armored vehicules demolished a school wall

• For the first time since the First Intifada in 1987, the Israeli army has deployed armored vehicles (type 'Eitan') during its assault on Tamoun, south of Tubas.

On February 5 :

For the third consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces continue their intense siege on the town of Tammun in Tubas Governorate.

They have persistently targeted civilians directly through beatings, abuse, arrests, and the destruction of infrastructure and local properties.

Additionally, the occupation forces have carried out air raids using warplanes.

They announced today the imposition of a curfew via loudspeakers : all movements are banned in the town until next Friday.

For the fourth day, the occupation continues its aggression on the town of Tamoun and the Far'a camp, south of Tubas,

At the same time, residents are suffering from the imposed siege and forced displacement. The blockade has led to starvation, preventing people from accessing basic necessities such as bread, water, and electricity, while a suffocating curfew has been enforced on the town

On February 7

On Friday Israeli forces shot two Palestinian young men and abducted one in the town of Tammun, and abducted three citizens, including a child in the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas in the northeastern part of the occupied West Bank.

• Israeli soldiers shot a young man in the face with live bullet fragments; he was transported to a medical centre where his wounds were deemed minor.

• Israeli soldiers shot another young man in the shoulder with live bullet fragments; he was transported to hospital for treatment.

• Israeli army abducted four Palestinians, including a child, in the Al-Far’a refugee camp and the town of Tammun :

1. Samer Sobhi Bani Odeh after ransacking his home in Tammun town
2. Imad Ahmed Tawfiq Sobh,
3. Marwan Muhammad Al-Nabrisi and
4. his son, Wassef, 12, from the Al-Far’a refugee camp.

Withdrawal of Fara Camp

On February 12, The Israeli army withdrew from Al-Fare'a camp, south of Tubas, on Wednesday, after a 10-day aggression. And residents began returning to inspect and assess their homes

• During the aggression, dozens of families were displaced from their homes in Al-Fare'a camp, moving to Tubas city and the towns of Tamoun and Aqaba.

• The camp experienced a severe humanitarian crisis, with all entrances closed, leaving hundreds of families without food, water, and medicine, particularly affecting those with chronic illnesses.

• The Israeli forces caused significant destruction to infrastructure and property in the camp, including bombing and removing doors from homes and demolishing parts of the Popular Committee building.

• Israeli forces raided dozens of homes, conducted field investigations, and turned some homes into military barracks, forcing 200-250 families to leave their residences.

• Approximately 30 young men were arrested during the aggression, 22 of whom were later released.

• Israeli forces hindered medical teams' work, preventing them from transferring sick individuals and raiding the medical point in the camp.

Aftermath of this military occupation:

• Israeli Soldiers’ Vandalism and Desecration: During an 11-day assault on al-Faraa refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank, Israeli soldiers used Palestinian homes as military outposts, leaving them vandalized and uninhabitable. Some families were forcibly removed at gunpoint, and their home was trashed with urine, feces, and used condoms. Israeli soldiers turned Fidaa Abu Zeina’s home in Tubas into a military base for 11 days, vandalizing it and desecrating his son’s memory—after killing him last September. "The trashing of his home was not the only horror that Abu Zeina has had to endure over the past months. In September 2024, his son Majed, 16, was executed by soldiers in the street as he pleaded for his life. Soldiers then mutilated the boy’s body with an armored bulldozer and paraded him around the camp, documented in a widely shared video.On a dresser in another room of his home, a ripped-up Quran sits below a mirror upon which vandalized photographs of Majed are hung. Soldiers drew male genitalia in black marker on the boy’s mouth."

• Testimonies of Displaced Residents : Displaced residents, described the pain of being forced out of their homes with little time to gather belongings. Many have been left in limbo, unable to return or even assess the damage. Some homes have been severely damaged or completely destroyed, leaving families without shelter or certainty about their future.
