On March 25, 2024, on Sunday evening, Jerusalemite bus driver Ahmed Abu Al-Hawa was stabbed by settlers in the Kiryat Sefer settlement, near Ramallah, amid tensions over the Gaza conflict and Al-Aqsa restrictions. He was hospitalized for treatment. The attack was one of many racist assaults on Jerusalemite bus drivers, with no action taken by occupation authorities. A video showed blood on the bus where Abu Al-Hawa was working.
