Israeli settlers launched a large-scale arson attack on the village of Burqa, east of Ramallah

On July 14, 2025, during the evening, Israeli settlers set fire to a vehicle salvage yard in Burqa village, owned by Mohamed Saber. The attack destroyed dozens of vehicles and spread to nearby brushland. Israeli forces arrived at the scene and obstructed Palestinian firefighting teams from extinguishing the fire. The settlers reportedly withdrew to the illegal outpost of Tzur Harel.
