"At least two vehicles were set on fire this morning in a terror attack by Israeli settler militias on olive harvesters in the village of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank." - Source
On October 19, 2025, Israeli settlers and soldiers carried out a massive attacks against Palestinian farmers and activist in Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah.
They attacked olive pickers in Wadi Ammar area, forcing them to leave their lands.
Earlier, the army had set up a "flying" military checkpoint at the main entrance of Turmus Ayya, detaining and searching several vehicles.
Israeli soldiers accompanied by a number of settlers, attacked the citizens and fired at them while they were picking olives in the "Wadi Ammar" area, preventing them from continuing to pick the olives and forcing them to leave their lands by force.
The settlers also set fire to two vehicles belonging to citizens Shaher Abu Aliya and Muhammad Abu Aliya.
Two citizens and a foreign activist were injured :
An elderly Palestinian woman harvesting her land was assaulted by a settler, who struck her on the back of the head with a stick. She lost consciousness and was transported by car to the hospital.
Settlers injuried also a young man, and a foreign activist with varying bruises and wounds.
Assault on the US activist and independant journalist, Jasper Nathaniel,(@infinite_jaz) who was reporting on the ground, by dozen of masked and armed settlers. "If I am killed in the West Bank, please know that I blame you personally @GovMikeHuckabee. I was set up by the IDF to be attacked by 100 armed settlers. When I sent the embassy the video and asked for protection for me and everyone else in Turmus’ayya, they literally said no."
Blocked in the plain between two hills — one occupied by armed settlers, the other by soldiers — Jasper Nathaniel tries to negotiate his escape with the soldiers. They seem to let them go, but... "8:42 AM: I walk back to the car, and we drive up. I mistakenly think the soldiers said they would make the settlers leave. Instead, as soon as we arrive, the soldiers speed away—leaving us facing two settlers on an ATV, one of them armed. A few other farmers are there too, beside a car with a smashed windshield."
