Israeli forces use to demolish the home of Palestinian prisoner in retaliation for their involvement in assault against Israel. This is allowed by the Israeli law but not by International law. This is considered as a collective punishment for his family and penalizes twice the prisoner.

On November 11, 2024, the prisoner Hail Deif Allah killed an Israeli soldier, Staff Sergeant Geri Gideon Hanghal, with his vehicle at the Giv'at Asaf Junction in the Binyamin Region. He claimed it was an accident, but Israel detained him for committing a terrorist ramming attack.
