"For the first time, according to Israeli human rights group Ir Amim, ‘#Israel’ has bulldozed at least four homes in East #Jerusalem in #Palestine over the past week alone–the first week of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. In doing so, the regime has broken with decades of precedent, having previously refrained from carrying out demolitions in the occupied territory during #Ramadan. The same rights group, which focuses on human rights violations that occur particularly in Occupied East Jerusalem, announced that an all-time high of 181 homes were demolished there in 2024 alone.
