"This is the daily scene in Gaza City. The martyrs were asleep at home. This family was at their home on Nadhir street, east of Gaza City, when it was directly struck in an Israeli raid, leading to the martyrdom of people, most of them women and children. They arrived here as charred bodies, relfecting the destructive power their house was subjected to. This strike is a continuation of a series of Israeli raids directly targeting the houses of Palestinian families. They were asleep, and are now among the martyrs."

Minutes before 11pm, an Israeli airstrike targeted the house of the Ghattas family on Nadhir street, in Shujaiya neighborhood of Gaza City.

About two hours later, Civil Defense 8 people were confirmed to have been killed in the assault. Footage shows Civil Defense retrieving the shred remains of a child's body.

Footage from the aftermath in morning showed the bodies of 12 people from the Habib family being laid before their funeral.
