On July 18, in Hammam al Malik, in the Jordan Valley, Israeli settlers killed 117 sheep belongin to a Palestinian Bedouins farmer in an overnight attack and stealing hundreds of others in an apparent effort to chase farmers off their land in the occupied West Bank.

According to "Jordan Valley Activists":

Last night, a herd of 350 sheep was stolen from Hammam al-Malik. The shepherds were detained by the army on the pretext that they had thrown stones and were released a few hours later. Some of the sheep were found in the area around Ein Shak and returned to their enclosure in the morning. Many sheep carcasses remained in the field—executed—and wounded sheep were evacuated by pickup trucks. According to the shepherds, 117 sheep are still missing. Many were shot to death. source
