Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said during a tour organized by the Nehala settlement organization on the Gaza Strip border and near the Netzarim axis today, Thursday, that “the kidnapped should be returned through settlement in the entire Gaza Strip, and we should encourage the immigration” of Palestinians. “We remember very well what happened when we left Netzarim and what a disaster that led to, (...) He claimed that "encouraging voluntary immigration is the required step. We stand here and say clearly: It is forbidden to carry out this miserable step of leaving the Netzarim axis, and this will harm the security of the residents of Israel."

Ben Gvir continued, "I address the Prime Minister and say clearly: This is not good, this is very bad, this is very dangerous, and this is a picture of victory for our enemies, and we must not give it away."

MK Limor Son Har-Melech from Ben-Gvir’s party claimed that “from the places where murderers who committed unprecedented atrocities against the people of Israel came, with God’s help there will be a widespread and extensive Jewish settlement. This will be the only optimistic vision that can comfort our people, and settlement is the way to ensure justice and security for Israel.”
