Samer Khawira, a journalist for Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, was arrested by Israeli forces at dawn on Thursday in Nablus, West Bank.
Soldiers raided his home, blindfolded and handcuffed him, and took him to a military base.
His wife reported that troops initially beat a neighbor, mistakenly believing he was the target.
Khawira is a father of four and also works with local media.
