Day 16 of Israel's third ground invasion of the North Gaza governorate. The day follows a major massacre perperated by Israel in Beit Lahia where over 150 casualties were recorded in the bombardment of residential blocks. Despite the scale of the massacre, little pictures or precise statistics have been published as of October 20 morning. This is also attirbuted to the communications blackout imposed by Israel since the afternoon of October 19. Journalist Yusuf Fares [reported](https://x.com/Yusuf198989/status/1847899160109858856) recieving messages about families being bombed at home and still under the rubble in Jabalia and Tal al-Zaatar, without any news being published about them.
