13-year-old Rimas Al-Amouri was killed by Israeli forces after being critically wounded. Her death brings the number of martyrs in Jenin to 27 as the ongoing Israeli aggression continues. According to documentation collected by Defense for Children International - Palestine. "Rimas Omar Mohammad Ammouri, 13, was standing in the courtyard of her family home in the Jabriyat area of Jenin around 3:50 p.m. on February 21 when an Israeli soldier positioned inside a heavily armored Israeli military vehicle about 50 meters (164 feet) away fired at least five bullets into the courtyard, striking Rimas in the back. Rimas sustained one gunshot wound from a bullet that struck her back and exited from her abdomen. Soldiers continued firing toward family members who approached Rimas to help. Rimas’ mother was able to pull her inside and the Israeli military vehicle drove away. While they waited for an ambulance, which took about 20 minutes to arrive due to movement restrictions placed by the Israeli military, her family applied bandages to her wounds, which were bleeding profusely. Rimas was pronounced dead around ten minutes after her arrival to Jenin Governmental Hospital at about 4:30 p.m. “Both Ayman (Ayman Nassar Taysir Al-Hemouni killed the same day in Hebron) and Rimas were targeted suddenly and without warning in the back with lethal force by Israeli soldiers safely positioned inside armored vehicles,” said Ayed Abu Eqtaish, accountability program director at DCIP. “Israeli forces have nothing but contempt for Palestinian children’s lives and systemic impunity means they will face no consequences. It is outrageous that world leaders have allowed Israel to kill Palestinian children with such cruelty with no accountability.” Rimas is the third Palestinian child targeted with live ammunition in her own home in the occupied West Bank since the end of January, according to documentation collected by DCIP."

Abduction of US-Palestinian Mohammad Zaher Ibrahim 15 y/o

Megiddo prison 16 February, 2025
Mohammed Zaher Ibrahim, a 15-year-old Palestinian-American boy from Florida, has been illegally imprisoned by the Israeli occupation after being abducted from his home in Silwad on February 16, 2025. He is detained in Israel's Megiddo prison since February, accused without evidence of throwing a rock on an empty street, a charge routinely used to criminalize Palestinian youth. He’s endured inhumane conditions, lost over 25 pounds, and contracted scabies. His health has severely decline and his family fears for his life, as other prisoners have died from torture, disease, and starvation. Despite their pleas, major U.S. media outlets have ignored the case. Mohammed Zaher Ibrahim was arrested on February 16, 2025, during a predawn raid on his family home in al‑Mazra’a ash‑Sharqiya (also referred to as Silwad) in the occupied West Bank. He was just 15 years old at the time. According to his family, masked Israeli soldiers broke down the door, blindfolded and handcuffed him, and then transported him to Megiddo Prison in Israel, where he remains in pre‑trial detention on rock‑throwing charges—accusations his family strongly denies Denied regular family contact and facing a broken military court system designed to silence Palestinians, Mohammad’s case reflects the brutal reality countless Palestinian children endure under the occupation’s apartheid. Tragically, Mohammed’s cousin, 20-year-old Sayfollah “Saif” Musallet, was killed in a violent settler attack on July 11 in the West Bank. He and others were hunted by a large group of armed Israeli settlers who beat and tortured young Palestinians. Saif was struck, beaten, and left to die, while Israeli forces blocked medical aid. Another victim, Muhammad “Rizik” al-Shalabi, was also killed after being shot and beaten.
