Around 9:30 am, an Israeli drone strike targeted a group of men collecting firewood, killing three from the same family. **Names of the martyrs:** 1. Ibrahim Arafat Abu Hujayir (30 y/o) 2. Tariq Arafat Abu Hujayir (Ibrahim's brother, 33 y/o) 3. Aref Jabr Abu Hujayir (Ibrahim and Tariq's cousin, 23 y/o)

On Sunday, March 16, 2025, Israel carried out two separate airstrikes in Lebanon, killing two Hezbollah militants, as claimed by the Israeli military. **First Strike (Early Sunday Morning - Yater, Bint Jbeil District)** Around 2:00 AM, in Yater, Bint Jbeil district, southern Lebanon. A drone strikes a four-wheel-drive vehicle, killing one person killed and injured another one. Lebanese health ministry Described the victim as a martyr and confirmed the injuries. **Second Strike (Later on Sunday - Meiss El Jabal)** In Meiss El Jabal, southern Lebanon, an Israeli drone strikes a vehicle, killing onee person The Lebanese National News Agency reported it was the third Israeli strike in 24 hours. Israel statement : Israel claimed both targets were Hezbollah surveillance operatives directing attacks. These attacks mark the third Israeli strike on southern Lebanon within 24 hours. Just a day before, another Israeli strike in Burj al-Moulouk killed a Hezbollah member, and earlier in the week, Israel assassinated a senior Hezbollah militant in another air raid. These events signal continued tensions between Israel and Hezbollah despite the truce. Israel has continued periodic strikes despite a ceasefire agreement reached in November. The truce required Hezbollah to withdraw north of the Litani River, while Israel was supposed to withdraw by February 18 but has maintained its presence in strategic locations.

At midday, **two successive Israeli drone airstrikes** targeted a group of journalists and aid activists in Beit Lahia, **killing the whole crew**. ### Context: The crew worked with the [Al-Khair Foundation](https://alkhair.org/who-we-are/ ), a UK-based emergency relief-focused international NGO. The crew were on their way to document charity operations consisting in setting up a camp for displaced Palestinians in Beit Lahia when Israel massacred them. The foundation [confirmed](https://x.com/AlKhairUK/status/1901233509772980245) that eight of its humanitarian aid workers were killed. At first, two journalists (Mahmoud Slayem and Mhamoud Al-Sarraj) were targeted and killed. A drone chased the rest of the crew who were in their car, striking it and killing the rest. The next morning, one of the injured victims succumbed to injuries, bringing the death toll to 10. ### Testimonies **Witnesses** [testified](https://x.com/Paltodaytv/status/1900909017318162894) that the crew were documenting charity efforts to erect tents for displaced families, a work that had been ongoing for 4 days at the time oft he massacre. **Al-Khair Foundation**'s director of international offices, Mohammed Abu Hasna shared with the [Washington Post](https://archive.is/zMlF1) that the humanitarian workers were opening camps for the displaced when one of their vehicles was bombed, killing two photographers who were documenting the work, as the organization typically does. The organization then sent another car to evacuate the victims but “as soon as they got into the vehicle, they were targeted and all killed.” Thus, seven workers of the foundation were killed. Abu Hasna added that “the claim that they pose a threat to the army” was “nonsense and unrealistic.” noting that the **IDF was at least four kilometers away**. **Journalist Islam Bader reported in details how the crime unfolded** in a [report](https://x.com/islambader_1988/status/1900885670601646167) to Al Araby TV: "*[...] a crew, including the journalists Mahmoud Sleem and Bilal Abu Matar, were **operating a typical small-size drone to film a shelter** that was being established in Beit Lahia. The IDF first targeted Mahmoud Sleem who was holding the drone controller, and followed with a **second airstrike on the rest of crew** who had moved from the area in car after carrying the martyrs. [...] The death toll is likely to increase as there is a number of injured being treated in the hospitals.* *[...] This strike comes **amid a concentration of Israeli strikes** lately as Israel has been escalating its attacks by targeting border areas, as well as areas in the depth of Gaza where there is a dense population of Palestinians. It has been opening fire intensely from its vehicles positioned within the buffer zone inside Gaza, leading in martyrs, today eight, yesterday one person was killed on the shore as announced by the fishermen's syndicate. Also, three people were killed in the Zaytoun neighborhood to the east yesterday. Before that, five martyrs in Netzarim, four martyrs in Beit Hanoun, and so on. [There were also martyrs] in Khan Younis, in Al-Qarara, in Rafah to the south.* *It has been clear that Israel has been amplifying [its attacks] athe same time that it announced blocking all flows of aid into Gaza over the past two weeks particularly, although this has been ongoing **since the ceasefire started**. As of now, **over 150 martyrs were confirmed**, excluding today's, as the pace of Israeli strikes has increased. Allow me also to highlight that the IOF has reccurently targeted Palestinian journalists who use drones for their documentation work. This has happened more than once during this war, leading to the killing and injury of a number of journalists. However, this is the first such case since the ceasefire.*" ### Tribute *Today, the martyrs who were killed during the massacre, all from the Al-Khair Foundation, had planned to hand over the camp in Beit Lahia camp after they completed furnishing it with around 1,000 Turkish tents, along with the necessary infrastructure. They were working day and night to provide shelter for the people, protecting them from the cold and harsh winter.*  ### Israeli propaganda debunked The IDF's official account on X claimed the massacre as an attack on a "*terrorist cell yesterday in the Beit Lahia area that also included a terrorist who infiltrated Israeli territory during the Oct. 7 massacre. The terrorists struck were operating a drone intended to carry out terrorist attacks against IDF troops operating in Gaza, the drone was consistently used by the Islamic Jihad Terrorist Organization.*" The post featured the following image and was quickly debunked by Palestinian journalists, activists and the Government Media Office as it contained several mistakes as to the identities of the victims. This casted serious doubts on the veracity of Israel's claims and intel:  - Bilal Abu Matar: wrong portrait and name - Mahmoud Sleem: full name incorrect and belongs to another person who is still alive - Suhaib Nagar: no such name among the crew that was killed - Muhammad Al-Ghafir: incorrect name - Mustafa Hammad: not among the victims **Names of the martyrs:** 1. Around 4 pm, an Israeli drone airstrike targeted a group of people gathering firewrood in the vicinity of the Sobhat Al-Harrazin school in the Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. Four people were killed. This massacre brought the death toll due to Israeli strike since the ceasefire that started on Jnauary 19, 2025, to 140 victims in Gaza alone.

On the night of March 13 to 14, Israeli settlers militia carried out a pogrom in the community of Khirbet Al-Marajim,in the southeast of Nablus near Duma. - They burned 3 Palestinian homes, belonging to citizens Khaled Daoud, Nasim Muslim, and Nayef Muslim, some with family trapped inside. - They set fire to the house of Qutaiba Muslim, a Palestinian man just released from Israeli prison after 25 years. - They burned 2 vehicles belonging to Nayef Muslim - Worse still, settlers abducted two children, a 4-month-old and a 1.5-year-old. Locals managed to rescue the children. - According to the head of Doma’s council, Suleiman Dawabsha, the Israeli declared Khirbet Al-Marajim a closed military zone, and prevented the residents of Doma from offering help to the residents of the village. - They closed the roads connecting Doma to Khirbet al-Marajim and fired live ammunition, tear gas, and sound bombs towards residents who attempted to reach the burning homes to extinguish the flames protecting the settlers. **Previous violent events** The village has been for several years a target of attacks by colonists tighter with the occupying forces. Duma has repeatedly been targeted by violent settler attacks. On July 31, 2015, Israeli settlers firebombed a Palestinian family home in the village, killing three people. 18-month-old Ali Dawabsheh was burned alive, while both his parents succumbed to their injuries within weeks. 

The father of Palestinian teacher Iman Al-Zuhour, who was arrested this morning by Israeli forces from her home west of Hebron, said that the Israeli occupation arrested his three daughters. "The first, teacher Iman Abdul Mahdi Al-Zuhour, Umm Abdullah. Iman's husband, Mu'in Al-Zuhour, who is my nephew, is under administrative detention in Nafha and has been detained for nearly twenty months. Her son Abdullah is detained in Ofer." "The second daughter, Afnan, Umm Yousef, left behind her infant son. And the third, teacher Enas, Umm Al-Hassan," he added.

**Since March 11, 2025**, Israeli army has been destroying large areas of Palestinian land in Wadi Al-Matwi in Salfit town in the occupied West Bank. Activist Nazmi Al-Salman stated that the land destruction is part of a plan to construct a road for settlers to access an outpost. He also mentioned that Israeli settlers have raised the Israeli flag along the road while bulldozers continue to uproot olive trees and destroy the land. **On March 24, 2025**, Israeli Settlers continue to carve out settlement roads in Wadi al-Mutwi in Salfit, placing Israeli flags on a Palestinian house in the area and threatening to set it on fire if the owner removes them. On Sunday, Israel’s security cabinet decided to recognise more than a dozen new settlements in the occupied West Bank, upgrading existing neighbourhoods to independent settlement status.

On March 11, Israeli forces carry out a large and wide arrest campaign during the hours-long raid on the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya. Azzun has been repeatedly targeted by Israeli raids due to its location along a main road frequently used by illegal Israeli settlers traveling between Qalqilya and Ramallah. - They arrested between 85 and 200 young men so far, subjecting them to assaults and forcing them out of their homes in their undergarments. - In the morning, they released dozens of Palestinians after abusing, detaining, and interrogating them in a field. They forced young men to strip. - They shelled a besieged house - They stormed the house of journalist Karam Hussein destroying its contents and stole personal belongings.
