On the night of October, seemingly as an immediate response to the Iranian reprisal, Israeli tanks advanced suddenly through various areas of Khan Younis and fired indiscriminately at civilian homes along with aerial strikes.
Summary of the Events in the City of Khan Yunis
- Tanks advanced from Rafah via the Mirage West intersection, quickly entering the Qizan al-Najjar area amidst intense artillery and aerial bombardments.
- The vehicles moved toward the Al-Manara neighborhood, and violently shelled to the neighborhoods of Qizan Al-Najjar, Ma’an, Qaa Al-Qurain, Al-Manara, and Al-Salam.
- A martyr from the Al-Shaer family was retrieved after being shot in the Qaizan Al-Najjar area. Another martyr from the Abu Hammad family in Bani Suhaila, along with additional martyrs near the Tahlia (water treatment) intersection.
- More than five homes have been bombed, with dozens of martyrs and injured people reported in these areas. Among the targeted homes are those of the Abu Mustafa, Al-Ashra, Al-Farra, Al-Qudra, Al-Agha, and Al-Masry families.

The number of Palestinian civilians killed in the massacre carried out by Israel last night in the Al-Manara neighborhood, Al-Salam neighborhood, Murtaja, and Ma'an in the Khan Yunis area of Gaza had reached at least 60. The identities of over 40 have been confirmed below.

Al-Farra family martyrs
Over 20 members of the Al-Farra family lost their lives at home in the Ma'an area. The bodies of 8 people have been pulled from the rubble, and efforts have been ongoing for two days to recover the remaining 12 trapped under the debris. Martyr Dr. Muhammad Al-Farra, owner of Sheikh Nasser Pharmacy, was killed along with his two sons, Abdulaziz and Nasrallah.
The bodies of the Al(Farra family members were retrieved from the rubble of their home over the courses of multiple days.
