Incursion campaign in the West Bank localities

Since the ceasefire in Gaza on January 19, 2025, Israel has launched a particularly bloody and destructive operation (Iron Wall) against the city of Jenin and the surrounding localities. At the same time, operations to strengthen the occupation and block localities are taking place on a daily basis.

A campaign of obstruction is being carried out across all entrances, exits, and checkpoints in the West Bank, with the addition of numerous filtering or blocking points. Each locality is being isolated from the others.

At the same time, special forces and armored vehicles carry out numerous raids across various localities. These raids may be motivated by special operations such as arrests or acts of reprisal for moments of celebration welcoming Palestinian prisoners released as part of the ceasefire agreement. In some areas, snipers are deployed, while in others, D9 bulldozers destroy infrastructure.
