Archivist Notes: Bombing of Al-Farouq mosque and its surroundings

On the afternoon of September 10th, the IDF dropped 3 missiles (Source) on Block 9 of Bureij camp, in the central Gaza Strip. These missiles struck the headquarters of the Al-Bureij Youth Club, as well as Al-Farouq Mosque in the vicinity of Abu Hamisa Schools.

The airstrikes caused an overwhelming scale of destruction.

Casualties:

  • 2 persons confirmed killed
  • Several injuries were reported, however no precise casualty number was provided.
