UPDATE: @gazanotice Child Karam Abu Jamaa, who had informed his relatives by phone that he was still alive under the collapsed building hours after Israel’s bombardment, could not be rescued. Karam, along with his father Mohammed Suleiman Abu Jamaa, his mother Jawaher Naaman, and his younger brother Mahmoud, perished beneath the rubble of the bombed building.

*The family understood that their relative is alive as they asked him to hang up the phone call which he did twice.

There are reports of survivors under the rubble of a building that collapsed following an Israeli airstrike on the Abu Zarifa family’s home in eastern Khan Yunis yesterday.

A child, trapped under the rubble with his father, managed to contact relatives by phone today. Civil defense teams are unable to access the area as the Red Cross has not granted approval.

Upon hearing reports of survivors under the rubble, citizens are trying to reach those trapped under the bombed building.
