"Dr. Mosab Nasser, FAJR’s CEO, accompanies Mazyouna and Soufyan, two children evacuated from Gaza, as they begin their medical care in the U.S. Mazyouna recently had her first surgery, and thankfully, it was a success. The surgery aimed to restore soft tissues and help her eat, drink, and speak again. This is just the beginning of her recovery journey, with more surgeries to come. Soufyan has completed all diagnostic tests, including CTs and X-rays. His neurosurgeon decided not to remove the bullet lodged in his brain, as surgery could cause more harm than good. His condition will be closely monitored, and treatment is now focused on his eye. The children are doing well, happy, and safe with their families.
