Day 23 of Israel's third ground invasion of the North Gaza governorate.

About 1,000 people have been killed in the invasion according to local medical sources

The day was marked by a lack of news and footage. Since 8 pm the night before, the North Governorate suffered three horrific massacres where residential blocks have been extensively destroyed, with almost no footage.

Healthcare situation

The Israeli raid of Kamal Adwan hospital which put the hospital out of service. The Israeli army destroyed Kamal Adwan's key facilities and equipment and abducted several members of the medical staff, leaving the hospital with only two doctors, including its director Dr. Abu Safiya, and no surgeons.

Pre-dawn

• IDF blows-up buildings since midnight in conjuction with multiple firebelt airstrikes. Journalists reported feeling the earth shaking from all the explosions
• 10 killed along with others wounded and missing in Israeli strike of a house in Beit Lahia belonging to the Ghabayen family, where displaced people from the Kahlout family were sheltering

Throughout the day there has been dispersed airstrikes and artillery shellings across Beit Lahia and Jabalia.
