Around 9 pm, Israeli drones and artillery targeted the upper floor of Al-Rantisi Specialized Hospital for Children in Gaza City.

Israeli artillery shelled the hospital three times causing material damage to the facility and patients and companions to flee.

At the time of the assault, there were 80 patients including 4 children in pediatric intensive care and 8 in the NICU, whereas others were spread across other departments (dialysis, oncology, respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases).
