The Israeli forces stormed the town at dawn on February 23, 2025, accompanied by military bulldozers, and began destroying streets and infrastructure and cutting off water and electricity lines.

– Israeli occupation forces imposed accompanied by a 48-hour curfew on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, according to the governor of Jenin, Ahmad Zakarneh.

-Israeli bulldozers destroyed the main entrance to the town from the direction of the Martyrs' Roundabout, reaching the Jerusalem Roundabout, and also vandalized citizens' properties, shops and vehicles, and completed the destruction of side roads between houses, and parts of the Martyrs' Cemetery at the entrance to the town and a café were bulldozed.
