"🔴 حين أكل الجوع جسد الطبيب… قبل أن ينقذ مريضه في غزة، لم يسلم حتى من كان يرتدي المعطف الأبيض ويحمل سماعة الإنقاذ… المجاعة وسوء التغذية لم تترك الأطباء والكوادر الصحية خارج دائرة الاستهداف، بل تسللت إلى أجسادهم المنهكة من طول المناوبة، وقلة النوم، وشحّ الطعام. اليوم، ترى الطبيب يترنح من الدوار وهو يحاول إنعاش طفل يحتضر من الجوع، والممرضة تبتلع دمعتها لتخفي ضعفها أمام المرضى، بينما نبضهم يخفت لأنهم لم يجدوا ما يسد رمقهم. الكوادر التي كانت عماد النظام الصحي، باتت تكافح للبقاء على قيد الحياة، بعد أن تقاسمت مع مرضاها نفس الخبز القليل، ونفس الماء الشحيح. إنهم يواجهون موتًا مزدوجًا: موتًا بطيئًا بفعل الجوع، وموتًا سريعًا بفعل القصف. ورغم ذلك، ما زالوا يقفون في الصفوف الأولى، يكتبون بعرقهم وحياتهم معنى التضحية… حتى آخر نبضة. --- 🔴 When Hunger Consumed the Doctor… Before He Could Save His Patient In Gaza, not even those in white coats, armed with stethoscopes and the will to save lives, were spared. Famine and malnutrition crept into the bodies of exhausted doctors and nurses—drained by endless shifts, sleepless nights, and scarce food. Today, you see a doctor swaying from dizziness while trying to resuscitate a child starving to death, and a nurse holding back tears to hide her own weakness from patients, her pulse fading because she too hasn’t eaten enough. The very backbone of the health system is now fighting to stay alive, sharing with their patients the same scarce bread and the same drops of water. They face a double death: the slow death of hunger, and the sudden death of bombing.
