On September 25, 2024, footage surfaced from IDF soldiers showing them palcing explosive barrels and setting them up leisurely before blowign the mosque.
Footage shows the mosque was deserted and no claim was made about anything being found inside, and its surroundings have been completely razed by the IDF.
This is another case of the systemic campaign of ethnic cleansing and religious war waged by Israel against Islamic identity and history of Palestine, documented multiple times throughout the preceiding 11 months.
