• In just one of a series of deadly Israeli air strikes targeting Gaza City on the night of September 18th, 2024, Israel killed 9 members of the Al-Haddad family with an air strike on a residential building belonging to the Al-Daour family on Al-Thalathini Street, near the Al-Nono building, in the Al-Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City.

• Having already recovered five bodies, and some wounded victims, Civil Defense tried to extinguish the raging fire caused by the strike, and rescue those trapped inside the apartment of the Al-Haddad family, but their crews were forced to withdraw due to the difficulty of recovery operations and to the complete collapse of the ceilings.

• In the morning they returned, and with difficulty, began the process of recovering the remaining victims. As of September 19th, they have recovered a woman and two girls, and are still searching for missing persons.

• Names of the victims have not yet been released.
