"Pregnant Women Essential Care in North Gaza: Today marked the 13th day of our Mobile Medical Point, set up in Qurban Camp, which shelters displaced families from Beit Lahia and Jabalia. With 40 women participating in the program, we began with basic health checks: blood pressure, blood tests, glucose level tests, and weight measurements. While waiting for their results, the women attended two educational lectures: one focused on managing pregnancy-related hypertension, and the other on understanding and preventing gestational diabetes. A detailed explanation was also given about the importance of vitamins, calcium, iron, and folic acid for a healthy pregnancy. At the end of the session, results were distributed along with multivitamins and supplements tailored to support their pregnancies. The nurse speaking in the video is nurse Rana Salem, who was supervising the lectures and handing out the supplements. Blood tests were performed at al-Helo Hospital, a certified facility.
