Witness "The bomb was dropped suddenly on the house. When we arrive we found the husband killed in the upper floor, and his wife in another room. There was no warning or anything. They dropped the bomb and you can see for yourself (the destruction), we don't know where the victims are, nor where to go (for safety ourselves). The man's wife was pregnant."

Civil Defense: "This house and densly populated area was struck by Israeli warplanes late at night and was completely destroyed. There are a number of martyrs and injured and our crews are working on retrieving them from under the rubble."

A young couple was found killed while rescue operations continue. The husband worked at the Palestinian Civil Defense at the department managing emergency calls.

Civil Defense statement: "Sergeant Musab Abdullah Al-Kurdi, and his wife Amira Mohsen Shaheen, who was seven months pregnant, were killed in an Israeli bombardment that targeted their home in the Al-Fakhoura area west of Jabalia camp. This brings the number of Civil Defense personnel martyred during the ongoing war to 84."
