Archivist Notes On This Video

"We are at the ruined house of the Abu Amrin family, under which around 16 are reported missing. Civil Defense crews retrieved one martyr and a number of injuries.

This was a 6-storey house with a dozen apartments. The occupation destroyed this hosue partially in what is known as the "Massacre of the destruction of houses of the at-Taqwa block". After the IOF withdrew, people had to return and repair what was left of this house because they had no other options. Today, the house collapsed over its inhabitants. This catastrophe portends similar collapses of partially destroyed houses, increasing the death toll.

Witness

During the occupation's incursion in the area, they blew up two neighbouring houses, and the foundations of this house were damaged, and after a while it collapsed over the 5 families that were inside, numbering around 50 people.

Civil Defense Col. Raed al-Dahshan:

Civil Defense crews have been working on this site for over 8-9 hours and, by the grace of Allah, managed to rescue whoever could be rescued, while 15-16 people still remain about under the rubble. As everybody knows, we lack equipment and heavy machinery and work with our bare hands. Our crews are putting great efforts into the rescue of injured from the rubble.
