7th day of the Israeli ground invasion, mainly focused in Jabalia

Afternoon

  • Israeli artillery shelling on the Nabhan family home in Bir al-Naja, Jabalia. The family had just returned home after giving birth to a newborn 10 hours prior. 5 people were killed, the newborn's grandmother, father, mother, and two siblings, leaving the newborn orphaned and in the care of her grandfather, her only surviving family
  • 5 killed in airstrikes in Saftawi area of Gaza City source
  • The Palestinian Red Crescent announced to Al Jazeera that its ambulances are about to run out of fuel
  • Drones drop bombs on tents of displaced people in Al-Faluja schools, west of Jabalia camp Source
  • Israeli drone opens fire on Al-Fawqa school in the vicinity of Abu Rashid pool in Jabalia. 18 injuries reported. Casualties transfered to Kamal Adwan Hospital

Night:

  • After 9pm, the houses of five families (Assaf, Dardouna, Azzam , Ghunaim and Junaid) were bombed in Israeli airstrikes on a residential block near the Omari Mosque on Al-Mahkama (court) Street in Jabalia Al-Balad. 21 people were killed, dozens of injuries reported, with others missing under the rubble.
