Around 1 am, an Israeli airstrike targeted a press van belonging to Al-Quds Today TV where 5 parked in front of Al-Awda Hospital, killing all five journalists who were inside and charring their bodies.

One of the five victims, Ayman Al-Gedi, was expecting his wife to give birth to their son Abdullah in the hospital. Abdullah was born at 9 pm the next night.

Israeli spin

As usual, the IDF claimed without any evidence that the 5 journalists were all memebrs of Islamic Jihad, labeling some as "combat propagandist" because it claims that the channel they worked for "is affiliated with Islamic Jihad". The IDF's post lacked a photo for one of the five journalists and used a wrong one for Ibrahim Sheikh Ali.
