The Gharib family home was locked by a cage enclosure as it became encircled by Israeli settlers. The enclosure is also locked behind a remotely-operated gate controlled by Israel, effectively imprisoning the old lady and preventing her from going to the hospital. Residents eventually broke down the cage gates to let the lady out to get medical treatment.
