In an Israeli air strike reported before 3:00am on September 30th, 2024, four members of the Al-Udaini family were killed when their home was targeted in the Hakr Al-Jami’ area in the city of Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza Strip.

The Israeli bombing killed the whole hosuehold: two parents and their two children. Child Balsam Al-Udaini was gravely wounded and had her foot amputated before succumbing to her injuries a short time later.

Wafaa Ali Abd Rabbo Al-Udaini | وفاء علي عبد ربه العديني was a Journalist who worked for multiple media and research centers, including as

• Manager at 16th October Group, a media group working to convey the Palestinian struggle to international audiences

Wafa Aludaini consistently worked so hard to build connections between the broad popular solidarity movement for Palestine and people in Gaza. She spoke and wrote everywhere in English and recently was a witness at the @SanctionsTrib

She is not the first Plaestinian journalist killed along with her family since October 7, 2023.

More than 175 journalists were killed in Gaza since the beginning of the Genocide.
