"Nooh Al-Shaghnobi, a Palestinian Civil Defense worker in Gaza, didn’t hesitate when asked if he would risk his life again to save someone under the rubble. In the now-viral rescue at Dar al-Arqam School, he and his team stayed with a man trapped after an Israeli airstrike, despite being warned a second missile was on the way. “Since the beginning of the war, thousands of situations like this have happened,” he said, “but no one filmed them.” Nooh says he didn’t expect to come out alive that day, but as long as people need them, they will continue risking everything.
