Israeli Drone Attack in Tubas :

At least five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone attack near Al-Tawhid Mosque in Tubas, located in the northern West Bank, on September 11, 2024.

The victims were identified as:

• Muhammad Saeed Hussein Sawafta (19)
• Majd Burhan Jamil Sawafta (23)
• Qais Saeb Rateb Sawafta (24)
• Yassin Ahmed Ali Sawafta (22)
• Talaba Mahmoud Jamil Basharat (18)

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) retrieved the bodies and transported them to the Tubas Turkish Governmental Hospital.

Military Operation & Curfew:

Following the drone attack, Israeli forces imposed a curfew in Tubas and surrounded the Tubas Turkish Governmental Hospital, restricting access to medical services and blocking roads leading to the hospital. Israeli reconnaissance planes and helicopters were deployed, flying at low altitudes over the governorate.

Palestinian Resistance:

Palestinian resistance fighters from the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades responded to the Israeli incursion, using explosives to target Israeli military vehicles.

Wider Israeli Military Campaign:

• The drone strike is part of a larger military operation, "Operation Summer Camps," which began on August 28, 2024. The operation has caused widespread violence and devastation across the occupied West Bank, including Tulkarem and other areas.

• In the ongoing military offensive, Israeli forces have killed 47 Palestinians, with significant damage to infrastructure and the displacement of residents from refugee camps.
