""I screamed so loud it could have shaken the whole universe," says a mother from Gaza, recalling the moment she thought her only son, Osama, was gone. Mistaken for martyred, Osama lay motionless in a shroud, prompting her to bid a heart-wrenching farewell. But in a miraculous turn, her scream seemed to stir life back into him. He emerged from the shroud, vomiting rubble and stones, leaving even the doctors shaken.
